Photos of the crashed Chevrolet Corvette emerged on the Corvette Forum, and shows a 2023 model year car (we identified it from the new-for-2023 wheels) mounted halfway up a cliff face. Another thing we noticed was the temporary license plate. This is about as fresh as Corvettes come, and this one looks to be totaled. According to the original poster, this great tragedy occurred in the Mt. Bonnell area of Austin, Texas. It is not known how the ‘Vette ended up in that situation, but we can imagine a new and inexperienced driver giving it too much sauce on the curvy roads in that area. After all, with 490 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque going straight to the rear wheels, the C8 Corvette can become a handful, especially when road conditions aren’t perfect.
