This Role
We are looking for a Customer Advocate (CA) who’s primary responsibility will be to help our new users quickly connect their workforce with our instant, live communications platform. Using our systems/tools to determine when and how to provide the appropriate assistance. Your job will be to get our new users talking! Help create channels, walk through adding new users and trouble shoot any issues as they arise. You will be the first contact in creating an exceptional user experience.
You will report to the Director of Inbound Sales and work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth.
What you’ll do
- Quickly follow up on inbound phone calls, contact forms, emails and website chats.
- Qualify sales leads based upon established criteria
- Research prospects online and then learn from outreach to understand need capture in the CRM and communicate with the sales team.
- Build and manage a lead development pipeline within our CRM through inbound lead follow-up and prospecting.
- Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives.
You bring
- Energy and enthusiasm. You are self-motivated, positive, and passionate about serving others.
- Clear, professional and friendly phone and video conferencing. You know what to say and how to say it.
- Fast, clear and concise writing.
- You learn quickly and are coachable
- Fantastic active listening skills. You are able to uncover customer needs and problems so that we can share solutions.
- Empathetic – you want to be a problem solver, from signing up and creating channels to billing questions you are the Zello advocate!
- Bonus if you know what a PLG start up is
- Bachelor or higher degree preferred. Technical a plus!
After three months you will
- Have become an authority on Zello’s solution and customers
- Clearly articulate solution value for common use cases
- Meet or exceed our goals for customer advocacy
