In total, Taylor owned 13 A80 Supras. Oddly, his 30-stong collection did not include the new GR Supra.
The previous record was $201,000 for a 7,000-mile Renaissance Red example. The first Supra to break the record was a 1993 Super White with 8,169 miles on the clock. It went for $237,500. After that, somebody broke the record again and paid $265,000 for a Quicksilver example with 22,962 miles. Quicksilver is a scarce color, which is why the higher mileage car received a more significant bid.
The record for a Supra belongs to Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious car, which sold for $550,000.
But these Supras represent only a tiny portion of this cannabis and car enthusiast’s collection.
