Some delightful retro touches can be found in the cabin; our favorites include the Becker Grand Prix cassette player (with removable face) and the oh-so-90s cassette storage sited behind the handbrake. Despite the decadent outward appearance, this is no lazy cruiser. The 3.6-liter flat-six produces a mighty 402 hp, with power sent to the wheels via the slick-shifting six-speed transmission.
There’s still plenty of life left in this highly collectible car (only 5,978 examples were ever made) and with a recorded 26,151 kilometers (16,249 miles), it’s barely run in. Despite the flawless paintwork and well-kept interior, Bonhams notes the Porsche will require some recommissioning before it hits the road; it has been in storage for quite some time.
Estimated to sell for between CHF70,000 – CHF110,000 (approximately $72,300-$113,700), we reckon it’s quite a bargain for a uniquely specified 993 Turbo – especially when you consider that someone paid $405,993 for Denzel Washington’s admittedly pristine example.
